The nightmares about humanity and the world
The world population growth according to official statistics: 1990: 5,2 billion; 2000: 6,1 billion; 2010: 6,8-6,9 billion; 2020: 7,7+ billion; 2030: 8,3+ billion; and 2040: 8,9-9 billion. In other figures: every 12-13 years the world population will grow around 1 billion. Within 20 years from today on around 1,5+ billion more people will live on the earth. And within 30 years from today on around 2,3+ billion more people will live on the earth. What does this mean?
In 20 years 1,5+ billion and in 30 years 2,3+ billion will need: food, all kind of drinks (wine, beer, etc.; milk and all kind of non-alcoholic beverages) pure drinking water, water in general, healthy food, cars, electricity, oil, petrol, gas, clothes, shoes, furniture, houses, health infrastructure, medicine, toiletry, condoms, tampons, schools, universities, stationery, religious care, toys, computers, money, insurances, etc. Many of them will want to travel and to have fun. On the other side they will produce a lot of waste, sewerage, toxins, nuclear waste, billions of tons and liters of excrement and urine. The worldwide illegal waste disposals, the pollution in air, ground and water, and the chemical elements in nature, goods, products, and nutrition will increase tremendously.
At the same time the global warming with floods, mudslides, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, and raising sea levels with loss of land will increase too. We also have to calculate with more deforestation (lost forests), more extinction of species (animals, plants), and more exploitation of natural resources and habitats (sea, land). Humanity today suffers enormously on lack of drinking water and miserable hygienic conditions; poverty, malnutrition, hunger, poverty in rich countries, epidemics, aids, drugs and addictions, and lack of medical care; criminality, fraud, murder, mafia, corruption, sexual abuse of women and children, and violence against women and children; disrespect of human rights, exclusion of the elder people, analphabetism, anonymity and inhumanity of global metropolis. In 10 and 20 years this miserable situation will be much worse.
We will also have to expect a serious increase of fundamentalism, dogmatism, atheism, religious dominance, fanatics, sects, lack of ethical (moral) values, hedonism, and loss of family values; excessive self-enrichment and unscrupulousness of individuals in power positions (politics, economy, industry), distribution of wealth. On an psychological level we have to face immense increase of egoism, greed, stubbornness, ignorance, and arrogance; increase of psychical disease, depressions, anxiety, neuroticism, aggressive psychopathy, unhappiness, and isolation; inexpressively more suffering, pain, hopelessness, fear, helplessness, rage, bitterness, sadness, emptiness, cold, and desperation.
The armies worldwide will increase too: let’s estimate around 20-25% more soldiers and weapons. We will have to face wars and civil wars, terrorism, racism, dictatorships, and extreme aggressions. Increase of nuclear weapons and armament and with that also permanent threat of wars will be our environment. We had several wars the last years: First and second Golf war, Balkan wars, Afghanistan war, and Iraq war. The four coming generations of the victims will not forget that! Many politicians and their followers will want to solve difficult problems again with war! We had evil terrorist attacks worldwide! It will be worse!
How will it be possible to democratically govern 8-9 billion people with all the above mentioned problems? How will the industry face the gigantic demands without insane exploitation of natural resources and destruction of nature and environment? Do you really think that all the catastrophes, wars, and destructions the last 15 years and today are the culmination of the disaster? In 20-35 years it will be much worse! All the catastrophes, wars, damages and suffering today are only the prelude! There are other horrid nightmares for mankind in development. The innocent children and young people today and tomorrow will have to accept the consequences as an inheritance. If you would only know how it is to die slowly...
Visualize your future: catastrophes, loss of land, drought, floods, hunger, poverty, misery, suffering, terrorism, wars, economic disaster, and a bitter life with Job’s news over and over! Do you want such a calamitous life in the future? For yourself? For your children? For humanity?
To the people in the industrial nations: Keep on going as usual and you will loose everything! To all people in other countries: Copy the life culture and zeitgeist of the industrial nations and you will fail dramatically! To the managers and the board of directors of global corporate enterprises: You destroy the earth with your greed! To whomever you are: You are jointly responsible in all the developments in this century through the way of your thinking, acting, aspiring aims, and every day life!
Keep in mind: The irreversible breaking point comes nearer and nearer! And politicians will never be able to stop the climate change and to solve all other global horrid nightmares in development.
